About : Ambrose Tennis Academy - Hunter Valley Tennis Coaching

Ambrose Tennis Academy is focused on providing the right training for new to experienced players.

Ambrose Tennis Academy commenced coaching at Branxton Tennis courts in January 2015. Over the years, we have enjoyed welcoming many new students. We want to make sure that everyone receives the right training so our programs have been developed to be age and ability specific.

These days, our Academy is situated at Rutherford. This location is ideally situated for players from Singleton, Branxton, Cessnock, Maitland, Kurri Kurri and surrounding Hunter Valley suburbs to get involved in tennis while also keeping things local. Check our Schedule.

We run adult classes and a social tennis competition and teach private classes at our courts or residential homes from Sydney through to the Hunter.

Jason is a hard-working coach holding a current Level 2 ATPCA coaching certificate and working with children check with over 15 years of experience.

Emma Ambrose

Emma has a Level 1 ATPCA coaching qualification and is teaching our ‘Tennis For Tots’ programs and has a working with children check.

Do you have Holiday Camps?

Yes we do Holiday camps for kids, lots of fun in the holidays. Please contact us for details or visit our bookings or news page

What happens if there's no-one else in a class?

When you/your child is the only student within a class the lesson will be shortened appropriately i.e. a 1 hr lesson will only be 40 minutes.

Are there discounts available?

To make sure that you and your family get the most value, we quote on an individual basis. Some of the discounts that we definitely do offer include family discounts this applies to new students.
